What prop should I start with on my Vandal it gunna have an 85 hp mercury with 6 inch jackplate, and what kinda speed should I get out of it.

I have absolutely no experience with a vandal but 6" of setback sounds like way too much. I guess I would start with a 22pitch and see what you turn for rpms.

There are a few strong runners (Vandals) on the Hydrostream Power Tour.

Touch base with FlowMaxx at the Power Tour thread at Scream and Fly. No doubt he can put you in though with the Vandal guys.

not sure on any setups either. but i have a ventura II with a 85hp suzuki, and im getting 49 mph on my handheld (i don't know if this is good or bad?).. just got boat last year, and i'm going to play around with setup this year
