Rear seat bottom cushion and side panels are done.
Lots of pieces needed to make a panel.

Re: ‘89 HST interior build
I’ve been staying busy making patterns, gluing vinyl to 1/2” sew foam, sewing colored strips together to form the stripes and fitting each panel to the frames to make sure they will fit nice and tight. My local embroidery lady is closed till April. We worked together to get the Hydrostream font just...

Re: ‘89 HST interior build
I replaced the foam and drew out the design on the foam. It should look like the Virage interior if I can pull it off.

‘89 HST interior build
I decided to re-upholster my HST interior and make it a little more modern. One thing that didn’t make sense was the rear hatch. If your HST had the stripes that go over the rear deck, those colors didn’t carry onto the hatch upholstery. The stripe that runs down the center of the seats carried thru...

Re: ‘89 HST rebuild ( Blown out bottom)
Figured some striping would look nice. A friend gave me a roller striper. Thought I would give it a try compared to brushing. This thing is amazing!!! Load the reservoir, set the guide and go to town. Nice clean lines. Took 30 minutes. [ Post made via iPhone ] https://www.hydrostreamforums.com/ext/s...

Re: ‘89 HST rebuild ( Blown out bottom)
Kevin, those are 1/8” aluminum pop rivets. The hose that came with the bezels was slightly larger than the barb section and wanted to come off. I’ll dab some black paint on the rivet heads to make less noticeable. [ Post made via iPhone ] https://www.hydrostreamforums.com/ext/sniper/mobiledevice/ima...

Re: 1988 Valero Gel Coat restoration
Hey, I know that boat. Phil did a great job on his kids Valero a couple years ago. Can’t wait to see this one done. We will have to get a picture of all three of our fully re-gel coated Hydrostreams this summer. [ Post made via iPhone ] https://www.hydrostreamforums.com/ext/sniper/mobiledevice/image...

Re: ‘89 HST rebuild ( Blown out bottom)
With the hours invested and the costs so far, flipping it even at an astronomical price, I’d be making like $10.00/ hr. I will probably keep it for the summer and get some fun out if it . All subject to change though. Lol… It may have to live in the “Hydrostream museum”. I need to trim costs where I...
