I was talking with Steve (Beaverton ae21 on here) this past weekend, he eluded he may be interested in selling his hull less motor, thinking about buying an STV. Ok, 850 class was just after me. I pulled the boat out of the water and dragged it back to Brent's, changed and came back. Got to watch the second heat of 850, but the boat was definitely not there. Updating an old post for whoever may be reading.... We had a get together that I didn't want to miss, and ran this gearcase 1 more time.... About 1/2 hr run time and it split open like a clam shell. Luckily the prop and shaft didn't eject, but it was toast. Note so self, have a look at the gearcase ...
