From my experience the best way to bring old gel back is to wet sand it.

Has anyone heard of Datcon gauges?They look pretty nice and simple plus offer a domed glass for glare reduction. Just wondered if any of you guys have any experience with these?

You'll have to excuse my lack of knowledge as surface props are pretty much a new thing to me. What do you mean by srx? Also what height should the motor be set at.

Im looking for some feedback on surface props. I've got a Vegas with an 86 225 evinrude on it, looks to be a 4 or 5" setback with a hydraulic backplate and low water pickups. I want to get a surface prop but am wondering What pitch because props aren't cheap. Or if any one has anything they wer...

I am interested in the ladder style from R&R. Has anyone ever used one. Do they actually work with out having to be an acrobat? I have a platform on my Vegas from the previous owner and it has no step on it its pretty much worthless IMHO.

Finally had a great day on the water. New steering cables and getting the fuel pump working solved the problems. Had it up to 75 ish and on smooth water it didnt seem to chine walk as bad as I thought it would. The only bummer of the day was my jack plate motor took a dump about an 1 1/2" below...

At least it wasn't a wiring problem. Wish I could be up there this weekend, looks like a blast
