thanks everyone, i just spent two hours peeling off some of vinyls the owner before Chet had put on it and i have many hours to go... whoever put them on really shouldnt have. Its that simple. Once i have them all off i will be removing the white paint. Hopefully the blue metal flake is still in goo...

Just bought my first hydrostream, a 1979 Viper with no motor currently. Plans to find a nice Merc to hang on the back for it. Just pulled it home tonight
