I have a 2001 Vegas XT and my ski-pole mount bolts have come loose.........I want to remount my ski pole, but make it super strong.....4 bolts instead of 2. Question - before I tear into my floor and figure a mount system / base plate, I need to know how the hull is constructed. are there 2 or 3 woo...

I checked out those hydrostream swim steps on Craigs list............no way. First they are teak wood and the mounting is for a vertical transom.....my Vegas XT has a very sharp rake ......like a 45 degree angle, so no way to mount, without a bracket with a custom angle......but teak wood on a James...

Thanks to all that replied..........I did look at the E Ladder from R&R and also found simular type from Bob's Machine Shop..........thanks for the tip, I will check them out. I am just concerned that this type might rattle when in the up position, under speed. I will ask how tight the machining...
