Black went on just fine.
Got the windscreen detail sanding done, black gel and since it was looking good, the sun shield clear top coat was sprayed on.
Thanks Kevin!! Spent half of the day block sanding the deck getting all the waves flattened out. The other half was spent masking it off for the black. The front deck “triangle” was very time consuming. It’s not straight lines. I had to make a template from the right side to get my marks for the lef...
Dehydrated, no documents found, to my knowledge. ( wink). I had the shop heat down a bit and the gel I sprayed yesterday hadn’t fully kicked. I scuffed the surface and let it off gas this morning and spent a couple hours blowing out the interior, vacuuming, and masking off the inside. Aluminum foil ...

Yesterday I spent 7 hours wet sanding the clear with 600 then 1500. I let that sit “open” overnight to off-gas. Today I spent 8 hours buffing. Super duty 3M with a wool pad Regular 3M compound and wool pad 6” random orbit with “The chemical guys “ # 32& 34 micro finishing compounds. Tomorrow wil...
Today I wet sanded the stripes flat and got two coats of clear on. I’ve been rolling the boat outside to spray then promptly rolling it back in. Saves making a booth. It’s bright, no dust, no bugs. Well, today a few bugs were emerging and decided to land in the clear. I was hoping to not sand anymor...
