Puget Sound Viper
Older boats like mine, <1976 typically had stringer on bottom and core between as opposed to stringer on core. Yet another question I forgot to ask Howard about.....Kepp pluggin' away...the first ride is worth it!!!

Re: Viper boat cover
I ended up taking mine to a canvas shop and having a custom cover made for it because all the off the shelf stuff just didn't work. It was spendy but well worth it in my opinion.

Awesome shots Ron! Look forward to seeing progress on that boat! I was lucky enough to spend some time with Howard and get some ink on mine as well. http://i58.tinypic.com/28v8z21.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/2116rtc.jpg [ Post made via iPhone ] http://www.hydrostreamforums.com/images/mobile/iPhone.png

Re: New kid on the block.
If it is not in great shape, IT IS TERRIBLE, there are no in betweens. The boat is dangerous. Dont take Pete's comment personally, but I will tell you that what he says is 100% truth....and my boat was a prime example of what appeared to be a well kept original....and it was, but the core was still...
