Re: Which hull
That is pretty funny, guess that's better than being called capt shitty breeches. Anyone have and idea on what a flake job will run? I've been scared to ask. Just got some good news tonight, my car may be sold, so I'll be up 6500 tommorow! :-$ tempted to throw in the boat and get this show on the ro...

Re: Which hull
Transomstand is Scott? Still trying to learn everyone, sonik that's a gorgeous viper, read most of your posts and threads. Transomstand, are you saying the automotive flake job and gel coat are pretty much the same thing? I know for automotive you paint your base color, then spray flake with clear, ...

Re: Which hull
I appreciate all the input, I've decided on a 2.5 because I know myself. I'll eventually want more out of it and I don't see the point of going through rigging, setup, buying power twice, and balancing. If I need to shed weight in the *** I'll look at shortening mid and lightweight cowl, and so fort...

Re: Which hull
Yeah, looks like somebody went for a ride there, hope everyone came out ok! I'm not gonna be racing, looking for mid to high 80s with two people. I have a viper, getting ready to start throwing all my money into the hull, just second guessing myself as to which hull I want to commit to. They are eas...

Re: Which hull
that puts that question to rest then. i like the way the viper looks a little better also, so that helpstransomstand wrote: We ran a Viper and Viking with the same motor and setup, Viper was about 5 mph faster.

Which hull
Was doing some reading and came across an article about hull design, and something caught my attention. Article said that a vking would be faster than a viper with identical power, even though the viper is lighter. I figure people on here would know first hand. Also, is the vking gonna handle a lot ...
