I would say yes. Make sure first layup goes another 10 inches outside each side of the transom and the second 5 inches on each side. Maybe 7 inches and 5 inches, but something like that. Mine was what I considered to be thin, but I don’t have anything to compare it to. No other streams around me with the transom ground out. How many layers of 1708 is typically done on the inside of the transom? I have two layers on it now that both end way up in the wing. The ends are staggered as well. Also tabbed the bottom in with two layers. I also laid two layers of 1708 in before I bedded the transom. Those ends staggered as well...

Looking for a complete dual cable steering setup for my varmint. Can be either teleflex or ride guide, just as long as it’s a true dual rack cable steering.

After I removed my rotten transom, and ground the old wood off of the skin, I’ve noticed it is kind of wavy and not straight.
