Re: advice on paint selection
The best paint I have ever used is Interlux Interthane Plus High Perfomance two part polyuerthane. No worries leaving the boat in the water with this stuff. A very durable finish. My son and I built a class C racing runabout and used the paint on that project with great results. The paint is very us...

Love it when we are the only boat on the river early in the AM. Can really get the boat wound out on the pad without the worry of those sud...

Re: Any one ever own a Hydrostream Vulture??
Own a 1981 Vulture powered by a 225 Merc. Has a bracket with 12 inches of setback. The boat hauls the mail and runs very stable on the pad.Takes lots of HP a BIG prop and setback to get the Vulture to fly. Mine is converted to a sundeck rear with four bucket seats. It's the only one I have ever seen...

Re: Hydraulic jack plate
Set up with that brand new never drilled Minx is pretty important. Alot of information about set ups can be found by reading the forums this site has to offer. From my experience with jack plates on that hull "V King"I would check into a Bob"s Machine 5 1/2" of set back with a bu...

Re: Another Hydrostream fanatic on board.
Hey Bill, I live in Norfolk Virginia, about a mile away from the largest Navy base in the country. I live on the Lafayette river. We run the boat on our river behind our house and on the Intra Coastal Waterway.. Like to run it out when the water is slick. Every time I take out the "BUS" pe...

Re: Another Hydrostream fanatic on board.
Hi Bill, you will find alot of information on this site. I own a 81 Vulture with a 3.0 225 Merc. Mods to the motor include drilled exhaust and a Bob's nose cone with low water pickup. We are running a Mazco 14.5x26 round ear and a 12 inch setback. My boat runs in the mid 70's on the pad. I would thi...
