I'm new here. I post mostly on the Minnesota Glastron site and occasionaly on the National Glastron site.
I have been looking for a Hydrostream for the past year. I was watching that one. The Vector in what you guys call the bruiser colors is what I am looking for. I have 6 Glastron Carlsons. So when you asked the question "is 3 to many or 6 or 7" My answer is hell no. You like em. They make you happy. Go get em.
We live in Southern California. Do most of our boating on the Colorado River. Like all of you, I'm watching the Jaxed site for these boats. Seems like most are east. Rarely do they come up for sale in the west. I'm not afraid of doing the floors, stringers, etc. So if anyone knows of a Vector around that needs a home. Let me know.

Well guys I put my back out cutting wood so Ive been gimped up for a few days . But Im starting to feel better and I finialy got my wood for the Voyager so it well be coming in shop first .then I well pull the Vector in and take some pics as I tear into it after it thaws for acouple days . Crazy as I might be Ive been shopping for a sewing machine as I well be tackeling the Voyager interior myself hope Im as good as I think I am.lol

Yes, the concave pad is on all Vipers and Vectors. The pad is known to give the boat a signature sound as it scoots across rippled water. Here's a great page about the Vector.....http://www.hydrostream.org/Specific%20Models/Vector.htm

Well 22 hr later and a sh%t load of Tn pot holes the size of Min lakes I got the Vector home. All in all a good trip tho but more importantly the boat . Well the transom is super solid as for floor I think about 2 days in the shop thawing and drying well be first order of business. There seems to be very little hook in the pad .It does however have cup in it down lenght of pad is this correct as I havnt seen the bottum of one of these before. Cup starts at front of pad and goes all the way to back.Cant tell about the floor its hard as a frozen lake cause it is frozen yay. I well be posting pics asap gota get batterys for camara cuase I no pics are worth a 1000 words . :D
