Looks good! You really need to get that motor raised up and I bet you would get 10+mph out of it easy and it would drive a lot nicer and actually get up out of the water as it looked like there was still a lot of boat in the water there.

Looking good though. Cant wait to watch the progress of this. :D

Video for those who are craving more Hydrostream. This is in the original configuration. I'm wondering if I'm not going to need more prop somehow. The 2-1 gear case on this v4 seems to possibly be a hurdle.

Welcome .I like the boat but as Hippie said raise the motor and it well be faster and probly handle better . I run a rude to on a Voyager another family oriented Stream and I love it .I'm just right down the Mississippi from you in Burlington .

Raise up that motor and get that prop shaft as close as you can to level with the pad without loosing water pressure (Assuming you dont have nose cona with a low water pick up) and I bet your numbers will go way up! If you cant go any higher on the transom you may need a jackplate but I would bet that a 2-4 inch plate will do wonders as well.

Yep, motor is bolted to the transom and running deep. Definitely want to get a jack plate. I will be working on the setup as long as weather permits this fall. Also will be doing a bit of engine work along the way. Can't wait to make it to a get together next year.
