His vking was originally built that way from the factory if I remember right. I could be wrong here. So many boat builds I have watched on here. lol

Thanks Mercman, those are the kind of pics I am looking for. After you put in your stringers and seat box, did you gelcoat the inside of the hull? What material did you make the stringers out of? I'm leaning toward using sitka spruce for it's light weight, straight grain and strength. Your boat looks awesome!

this is my comp hull 2006 vking it has 6 stringer in it 2 in the gunells and the other 4 in the middle that runs to the transom and all 4 knee into the transom for extra support hull is around 1/4 inch thick 1708 double bias stitch matt only wood in is transom hull is arond 400 pounds really strong ive jumped was and landed hard as possible to test it out and no problems yet hope this pic helps

Competition hull

Does anybody have any pictures of a competition hull. I'm interested in the stringer/floor layout in particular. I'm restoring a Viper hull and looking for ideas to beef-up the stringers. I've seen alot of posts refering to comp hulls and would like to see pics of the interior, if anybody has any.
