The summer here was wimpy. Made it good for doing the work on it. It seemed like the days that were nice were windy as heck and all the other days were wndy and cool. Weird weather.

I'll check out a manual tomorrow and see if I can find anything. I would assume if you can take it apart it would be resealable some how.

We have been blessed with a good boating summer not too hot and not much rain.

Wow. Thats what I was afraid of. I'll take it apart and see whats in there. I don't look hard. Prop the motor up and it looks like it'll come right out of there. Well, thanks for lookin into it. Don't look like any shake down weather very soon here. Rain wind and more rain.

I think I found what p/n the cylinder is. It looks like that clamp was used on the XR2's back then. The cylinder p/n is 79114a4. I'm sure it's just an o-ring in there. I double checked my manual and nothing like it. :?: :?: :?:

Alright, the ser # is 4967268
the fluid seeps up through the threads where the cylinder screws into the bracket.

It's leaking where the cylinder screws into the clamp. It's kinda hard to explain. I'll snap a pic of it and send it with the ser #. Thanks

So is it leaking from the lines? or the actual cyl?

It's old. Before the bolt pattern (BIA) standards. I'll send you the ser # tomarrow. It's a 2 ram setup and the fluid runs through the bottom transom mounting bolts. Thanks, Rick

Ok I see your running a single with your pump in the boat. Is it leaking at the fitting where the hyd line goes into the cyl?
If it is tilt iap and use the tilt lock or something so it can't come down. Remove the line and look for junk or a bad o'ring it shouldn't be bad to fix. I'll look into it a little more tomorrow at work.
