Welcome, I'm sorry you lost your friend.

Yep, it's a clean ride, one of those rigs that you will probably wish you had back. ;)

You posted some good pics but we need some of the business end of your boat.

Again, welcome.

Sorry to hear about your loss of a buddy. That would be tough. Sounds like he had a sweet toy collection though.

Thanks man, yea hoping I have some luck with it. I am going to look into the recore of the boat if it was done or not. There are quit a few. Sold a 98 Hyabusa today, there is a 79 GS100 runs and prety damn good condition. a GS1150 and 1000 unsure of years have to check titles. 87 GPZ750 TURBO that needs a fuel pump and gas tank and a 04 soft tail that he used just about everyday that is in fantastic condition, probly keep that one for myself...

These boats were made with wood core material that will rot over time. Pretty much any original hydrostream that has not been re-cored will most likely be in need of a re-core. That's how it will affect the value of what you have. Many people have photographed and documented their recore process, and those are the boats that will have the highest value.

Thanks for the fix! I meant to put HST. I love the boat and this weekend will be taking it out for a spin. I have WAY to many toys and projects around and money is tight. I would like to see it go to someone who can put the time and money into it and appreciate it way more than I ever could. What exactly do you mean by documented record? I have a clean title to it and may be able to dig through files for more on it... My buddy also left me 7 motorcycles I have to figure out where to put. He was admint on going fast on everything! I appreciate your input though friend like I said never owned or even got into any subjects of boats! Love to learn a lil something while im here. Who knows if no one buys it I may just have to learn it all and keep it!

That a very nice boat! It's an HST for future reference... No idea of value, has there been a documented recore done on it?? If not it will affect value substantially. If someone left something like that to me I'd be making time for it!! Lol

Just inherited HS HST help?

by Pblock4l » Apr 23, 2013 5:04 pm

Hello hydro owners and enthusiasts! New to boating let alone these monster Hydro Streams! Anyways my buddy rescently past away and had left me his 1989 Hydrostream HTS...This thing is BEAUTIFUL. Its a 20ft HST with a 2001 Johnson 225 High Output. This boat has only seen fresh water and the motor was rebuilt in 2008 and has about 8 hours on it since. The interior is excellent and honestly the boat looks like it hasn't even seen water... I wanted to know how much it may be worth or if anyone would be interested in making and offer on it? I have no time, money, or space for it... Any info would be a huge help and much appreciated!
