I like the Vectors! If you need a way to paint it, I have a hanging platform to hold the boat in the air. I just painted a Mooba ski boat a couple weeks ago. Maybe one day when your done I'll catch up to ya and check out a N. ga lake.-Scott

I am restoring a vector. Canton Ga....or should I say Ive been doing a lot of scratching and itching lately..LOL..most of the dirty work is done.
getting ready to tackle the transom next.

We were still out late november last year...so mine sits 4 months.....we were out 2 weeks ago for a "lets see if it runs".Beautiful early and late season...Only fisherman to Pester...No tourist/Rich city folks...Oh man dont start that usin it year round stuff on here too...get enuff of that Braggin on SNF :P :roll: Enjoy the Vking they sure are fun :up:

Thanks Oldskier, I may try to contact him. I drove up to PA to pick up my '79 Viking...man is it a nice one too. I gotta post some pics sometime for you fellas. I guess up north you gotta keep 'em inside for 8 months a year...where as I get to play for 10 months and put up for two! LOL!

There's a guy in N.Ga. who was posting on Scream and Fly a couple months ago rebuilding a Viper. Can't remember his screen name. He was near Hiawassee.

I think mainly theres 3 reasons for that....
1. They were made in MN
2. We are poor and cant afford that New ..(Ya know the keep up with the Jones stuff)
3. We be just cooler than them guys down south ... well the weather is anyways :lol:

I did sell my Old Viking to a Dude in Tennesee...On ebay :cry:

Just really noticed that most Hydrostreams seem to be up North. Not nearly as many from the south.
