Yes, I like the Bruiser color scheme and was hoping to be able to clear coat it but after power washing, it appears too far gone. Will be painting the deck & hull. A re-gelcoat will be too cost-prohibitive. As of now, I'm leaning towards painting the entire boat Chevy Hugger Orange. Your right the floor & core appear to be extremely dry. I was able to remove most of the floor without power tools! Just used a hammer & pry bar to bring it up. Will be taking my mulit-tool to the rest soon. Once the floors completely removed ill have to put it on the back burner for a couple of weeks to get other things taken care of before winter's here. I'm building a jig and once the boats securely on it ill be removing the stringers and transom. Don't plan on removing the deck. I've heard too many horror stories connected to that. Will be cutting out the splashwell to access the transom. I plan on using West System epoxy. I've used the stuff before on my Glastron and loved it. Plan on Coosa for the transom, stringers, & probably the floor too. That leads me to my question, what composite material works best to replace the core? I'm open to suggestions. I've heard of so many it's become confusing! I did pick up an OEM Suzuki Samari back seat to replace my missing back seat. It's a near-perfect fit and has no wood to rot. Vinyls not perfect but what's it matter, it will be upholstered along with the buckets & side panels. I appreciate any suggestions you guys can give. Thanks!
