I have a yt and have 5 inch set back and plan to change over to 11 or 12 for next summer.Mind does not do well with the 5 set back. And is a all out pain in the rump to fly out fast.

Oh that was you out in the deep water ... I thought so just wasnt sure  Killer boat to you to man..Thats Kingers old stream  Me and the neighbor ran 6 inch manual jack plates on our vkings...his was a yt with a 225 promax...mine was a pad with a Bridge port...they both ran really good....i thought the yt had to be level or and inch above pad or some chit like that...its been years I forgot alot  I know his was a little more funky drivin but he would trim it pretty heavy duty and that *** would wiggle like the girls in Snoop Doggy Dogs videos

What prop you run

Yup gill
Its kingers old stream.I just wish i had a clue what rigging he was running. At one time back then my mod vp 2.4 ran on the yt over a 100 gps
But i can,nt see how with the set up i have. Most guys on screamandfly say 11inch or 12 inch set back should do it.And all other stuff is just as you say.
Id real enjoy seeing any pics you have of my yt from the days
You guys all have done alot of running in these streams. And you have been around for years.
