Not a grill a gill mount is a custom motor mount that is used to repower I/o boats with a outboard . Thanks for the link though.

LOL  ....I have never heard of that.
I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer sometimes.
Looking at some on D&D marine, interesting but pricey.
Could you fill the transom and use a jackplate?

So lets see some pictures of this new boat.

I am going to be converting the Jet Boat to an outboard and plan on just using a jackplate somewhere in the 8-10" I think. Not really sure yet. But then again this is only an 18ish foot boat. Now that I think about it, I have no idea how long it is. Never measured it before but I know its not bigger then an 18 footer. lol

I understand that Gill is no longer in business. Armstrong http://www.marineparts.com/Armstrong/arm1.htm, makes top quality, top $ brackets but not tubular.

Have you searched for used, or maybe it could be a project for you and your welder.

I know where there's 2, but they're attached to a 26 foot Baja and holding up a pair of Johnson GT 200's. It's the boat I was going to buy before I decided on my 'stream. The boat's rotten, owner was asking way too much for it. I can put you in contact with him to see if he wants to part it out though. It's in Bracebridge, Ontario Canada.
