Do any of y'all run self adjusting smart tabs on your streams I have a buddy that was having problems with his checkmate put some of these tabs on it and improved his on plane and his getting it on the pad time I am just looking for something to get my vector on plane faster for when I drag race and my boat seems to falls to one side before I get it on the pad for just a few seconds i am ust trying to get it there as fast as i can and I am just wondering if these tabs would work on my vector like they did on his checkmate bc he was having that problem and the tabs eliminated and put him on the pad and running pretty much automatically

I have never used them myself yet. I have heard thay can help in what you are talking about, but I have also heard that if you come down on one side it can cause the boat to be thrown to the other side. I am considering trying them on my vking just to see for myself what they will change. So if you do put some on keep me posted on your results.

Well I bought the tabs and put them on the first time I took the boat out It was not good I set the tabs up to give me the maximum pressure thinking I would need it to get the boat on plane well it put the boat on plane fast but they were draging so bad it just felt like the motor was boged down long story short I changed things up and got them set to were they needed to be and put my 22 yamaha back on and ran the boat and it jumps on plane fast and there is no more of the boat falling to the left side when I take off and getting it on the pad all I have to do is mash on the gas and start trimming the boat just takes off and is flat its like u take off and the boat is on the pad it lowered my rpms some so I am more comfortable running the 22 yamaha I am turning it around 7500-7800rpms and I am happy with that I haven't put a gps on it yet to see what It runs mph but in the 1000ft race i run yesterday it ran good I won a few races and came in 3rd out of 8 boats I may have not been the 3rd fastest but that's where I finshed thanks to where I was in the brackets so in my opinion I am happy with the tabs and would recommend them they did what I wanted them to do which is get the boat on plane fast and not fall to the left and have to get it up on the pad and the tabs are out of the water quick bc ur almost instantly on the paid it seems like

Did you loose rpm's on the top?
I will be doing some testing with a gtech here shortly and these are something I'm looking into, but if you lost rpm's on top that means they are in the water still.

And if they are still in the water some I don't mind bc I needed to lose some rpm's to run the 22 yamaha drag for racing

Thanks for the info. I think I found the happy spot on the trim to launch nice and level, but I might still give them a try at some point.
