Try it at 52! lol Many sore mornings. That stitchmat is awsome ain't it, one shot deal and strong as hell
Lookin good Chet!
Thanks Rick. I kind of took it easy today. I found a syringe type thing used for horses? Anyway I used a tip to inflate basketballs and ground it sharp to inject resin in any voids. I got the stringers wrapped and the inside gel coated except for where I just layed glassed. I forgot my camera but had my cell.
I started with a bright white gel but I figured it would show too much dirt so I added a black tint to make it a grey. I will add some splatter in the colors I use for the hull to tie it together.
I did shrink wrap the vegas as long as I was there.

I had to work late so I didn't get much done tonight just some cleaning and some planing. I cut my stringers before I laminated the bulsa and bedded the stringers. Now that I did that they are about 1/16" tall. I didn't like the idea of building up the sides of the hull to match the stringer height and taking the material off the top of the stringers was a option. I came up with a good solution I think. I plan on using the router and cutting a notch in the floor. This should add strengh as well as fix my little mistake.
This is my injection gadget
The gel on the inside cured nice and should be a lot easier to clean up, I can ware shoes in the boat again!

I had to cut mine down to. Better to have to much than not enough. I made a jig that fit the floor register in the hull and used a router. Major vacuum cleaning after. Worked well though.
Looks great! I like the idea on the splashwell with that frame. Should make it easy to fill it in. If thats the plan anyways.
The dash looks great too. I am still on the fence with my dash. Thinking I just might leave it and work with what I have right now until I get ready to eventually paint it.
Starting to look like something a Chet? Gets ya kinda exited don't it. Keep up the good work and you'll be leavin them in your roost! Happy turkey day.
Rick.
