This is another place where the plan keeps changing. I think I know how I want it but my lacking in bodywork skills might shine

The cross braces, or fuel tank?

I got out to the shop for a little bit tonight and started on the top of the dash, remember I'm no body guy and have to think about how to accomplish what I want this thing to look like. I'm fairly pleased so far.

I'm using 1/4" poly honeycomb coring material that bends real nice, I will be using this to fill in the deck too.

I got a nice package from wintech with some new steering parts today and just had to get out in the shop and play for a bit. I was having troubles with the 14" steering wheel, it just felt awkward sitting in it so I went down to a 12" wheel and it's so much better. I also started to test some ideas for the deck the center will be on a removable type hinge so that I can take the center out and add a second seat, other than hippie not to many people are willing to sit on nitrous bottles.

Looking good! I'm gonna have to come down and check it out and lend a hand perhaps one of these days real soon.

Oh yeah, nothing wrong with sitting on the NOS. Just keeping the tank temps up.

Thanks, I'll get some more pics up tonight I had to take a break fo a bit.
I'm going to set it up for the 115 class so I sure hope to be close to that in a 1/4 mile. Top end is probably is going to be like my viper, faster than what is safe.

I'm going to bring it to work on Sat to weigh it so I know how far off my target weigh I am so tonight is a weight loss night -5.8 lbs in the cockpit
