Possibly. I havent had much money to put into the boat since getting it back about 2 months ago. Decided that I wanted to get my own semi trailer and finally go off on my own so I been putting money into that to get that ball rolling. Last week was my first week of no dispatchers or some company telling me what to haul and where I have to go even though I owned my truck. Its a whole new ball game that im not used too but I can tell im going to like it a lot more and be a lot happier finally. Hopefully in about 2-3 weeks I will be putting things into high gear. Just need to get me some new seats. Really want to have the ones I have here redone but they are talking like $300-400 per seat to get redone. I can buy new ones from Overtons for that for the pair so prob going to go that route.

Im slowly collecting parts and tools to get the job done so just a few more things and you will see a lot of progress in a short time.

Well, im hoping to get some slight body work done this weekend so I can actually get the jack plate mounted and kick this thing into high gear. Its not going to be anything amazing by any means but it will get me though a year or two until I can afford to repaint the entire boat. Fingers crossed for an update this weekend.

Well, I know its not a lot of progress but some other events have come to an end here at the house so its time to get in gear here.

I had gotten some black gauge bezels a while back from Jeff (Sonik) and before I took everything out, I had to see how they would look. I like them so much better over the red bezels.

Got pretty much everything out of the dash thats going to come out for now before I give it a good cleaning and put it all back together with new switches, bezels, and all that fancy stuff.

So here is the kill switch that is in the boat and I do not have a tether for it and short of buying a whole new switch, does anyone know if and what kind of replacement tether I need for this style switch? Just looking to not spend any more than I have too at the moment.

Well, not much but something is better than nothing. Have a few parts that should be here on friday for the dash so I can start piecing that back together.

Looking really good!!

Are those bezels angled?
Hmmm... If your looking for a new home for those red bezels, and the red steering extension.. I know a guy that knows a guy who might be interested .... :D

Your gettin so close...won't be long now...wish I lived closer, I'd come help you rig it up

Have not made much progress on mine this past couple months, but did pick up a sweet 225 Super Mag since then.

Yes, the bezels are angled and yes, I will be happy to give them a new home. As for the hub extension, I am keeping that and just going to give it a coat of gloss black paint. The red bezels are really faded on top so to me they are not worth much what so ever so if someone wants them, just cover the cost of shipping and they are yours.

I have all new switches and stuff coming that will hopefully be here tomorrow. Im going to try and scrub the dash real good today and jet all the dirt and junk off so I can start getting things back together under the dash this weekend. So close yet so far away!

While its not a lot of progress, its better than no progress. Managed to get the hub extension off and then did the oven cleaner trick to get most of the anodizing off of that and the two rigging tube adapters so I could paint them. I'm not a fan of red really and I'm too cheap to just buy new black ones when I can give em a few coats of gloss black.

And here is the painted parts. Lighting isnt the greatest but trust me, they are nice and shiny and look pretty darn good.

And these darn things held up all the progress I had planned yesterday as I could not find them anywhere! Well, wouldnt you know, I found them in a bag, hanging up under one of my kids sweatshirts. Sure would have been nice to have them yesterday. Thats alright. Just gave me more time to let a few painted parts dry up real good.

Of course I am not going to be using all of them as I only have 5 gauges going in the boat.

Well, that is all for now. Wish I had more for everyone. :fish:
