Chet does it matter if the scrim mat on the balsa goes up or down, my Viper the scrim was to the hull while my dads Ventura was just the opposite. I would post some picture of the Ventura but it would make Hippie mad, lol ,because its was an original core and was plenty rotten. Im gunna get some pics on here of the work we got done.

It doesn't matter how it lays, it's more important to make it lay flat.

Things are slow going but I've been getting some work done, and picking up parts along the way. Part of the problem is the whole long term project and plans that keep changing. I had raised the transom expecting to run a 20" mid, I just picked up a 15" so I had to cut the transom and re drill it. That took forever for some reason. I got the dash glassed in and started on the steering last week and after countless hours under the dash measuring and making patterns I got the pullies and steering column in place so I could mount everything to see if it's going to work. I can say tonight I can steer the exhaust adapter at least. I still have a bit of glassing up front but at least it's all in place. The seat box and hot foot mount are done but I want to finish up front first.
