Looks like someone left you a double job to do.

The only foam in my vector was in the seatbox. It was full and not wet at all.

Get Er Done !!

I don't know how to tell. I guess if the stuff is all real brittle, it's poly. I'm shure if you got epoxy, if you ground to the poly, you would be ok. Good question though! How do you tell? :?:
It's good to see ya gettin somewhere on it Hip. Keep up the good work.

Some of it is really brittle some of it is hard as a rock. Whatever it is, its all coming out! And whatever they used as a bonding agent was not all that great either and they had a ton of voids between the plywood and hull on the starboard side. Someone had zero clue what they were doing when they attempted to repair this. The repair work didnt even look all that old but man, for how wet that wood was you would think it had been there for 20 years but then again by the looks of the workmanship it could have only been a few years for it to get that wet. lol Its on hold for now as work comes first so I can afford to keep working on it. Sometime next week I hope to have it just about done and ready for the rebuild though.

Well, yesterday had 2 very unexpected things come up that financially will set my project back at least a month minimum. :cry1: This stinks... Still shooting for july though. Just going to have to work harder at it when I can get back to work on it. I will still try to do a little here and there when I can but it wont be much as I will be busy working my a$$ off for the next 5 weeks to make up for my new found financial set backs.

Buy some stickers people!!! Help me out. :pound:

Nope. Nothing new to report here. I am still trying to settle in since moving a few weeks ago then I have been busy with little guy and also dumped a boat load of money into my semi getting the motor rebuilt. Now its time to get back to work so I can pay my gopher to come help me with it.

I am still planning to be on the water this year though. Might not look pretty but it will be good enough for me this year. Paint can be winter project.

Hippie, what do I have to do. Skip my vacation up North with the wife and kids and come up there and kick your a$$. Get going on the boat. At this pace I'll be 60 before you finish it. I will send you a pm. I have a couple of questions for you. Bill
