No progress, it's actually going to be shrink wrapped for the summer. I hate to do it but the funds are going into the vegas for now.

Well the viper saw the sun for a couple hours today and got to meet the vegas. I towed it to work so it has a room to itself. I took the oportunity to clean all the dust out, it looked like a snow storm once I got out on the hiway with it.

This isn't going to be fun.

As you can see the gell is in bad shape but after seeing the viper thread on s&f I have a couple ideas on a new paint job. But then again I was thinking of leaving the gell as it is and make kind of a rat rod look, I would straighten the bottom and gell it white and leave the top.

I have also rethought the rebuild and made up my mind to make it a race boat with a single seat maybe a second inline with the first. I have another sea star setup and all the rigging goodies already I just need some time. :boating:

Oh ya there are holes like that all the way back with some big ones from speakers. Has anyone just cut that part out and mount a controll box on a panel off the floor?

Well I brought the viper into the shop and hope to have the core, transome and stringers done by Dec. I will then flip it and get to work on the bottom. I have been picking up parts here and there. It will have a sea star system center steer. I picked up a 92 200 xri that will be ported, most likly on a 15" mid. I picked up this 15" cle with a titus cone, tillman thinned the skeg and welded a tourque tab on. I will also be putting the alien cowl on.

The cat was at work, we usually use them for target practice but it was too small, I actually thought it was a chipmunk at first. I couldn't do it so I brought it home. It plays with my lab for hours on end.

Hippie, the viper is at work so when you stop by you can check it out.

Well I put away the Vegas for the winter so I brought out the viper for some more work this weekend. I built the transome and stringers on friday and installed the transome on Sat. Today I finished bedding the core and tomorrow I will try to finish the core and install the stringers tuesday, then I will be gel coating the inside so it will be waterproof.
