there is a virage with a 2.5 on it on craigs for 6k i talked to the guy hes really cool

from my understanding there was only something like 15 (if even) stg 3 virages made. i also had a stg 1, it was a good boat. here's one of my favorite pics

here's one w/ the 3 litre on it

on the 3 litre i built an efi harness using tefzel shielded avaition wire, i wanted to get away from the stock computer system so i could modify the engine,used a wolf ecu bcause it had 8 drivers for ignition and 8 for fuel injectors, ininitially i tried gm ls6 coils but the motor wouldn't turn over 4500 rpm, i then realized that was the equivalent of 9k rpm on a 4 stroke!! ended up using optimax coils and drivers and it worked well. mileage went from a lil over 2 mpg(horrid)w/ 300 promax computers to 3 plus mpg w/ the wolf once i built the spark/ fuel maps, and i got it to run 109 w/ a 225. engine is now on the skater running 99.

here's some video of first building the spark/fuel maps w/ a test wheel. i'll get some more pics/ video up later, gotta get to work!! if i were to keep it i'd probably build some kind of stock 3 litre, or opti 3 litre. everything i have now is 3 litre based as far as parts, the 20" mid is the biggest problem to find(and expensive) View My Video
