Nice looking boat!!!
You must have put a 2:1 gear lower unit on it.
Got a friend that is wintering in Florida this year helping elderly parents. He calls bragging about the weather. I'm jealous!!

the weather has been mild, mid 70's to low 80's. the new lowerunit was bitter sweet. i put a low water pickup on it expecting to see better top end numbers, but i lost 8 mph, and i redline right away. i didnt want to buy a new prop, but its all part of the game. im running a merc laser II 22 pitch now. im getting a few loaner props this weekend to try, hopefully ill find something i like.
I had a 4 blade 26"P thru hub prop on my Virage when I bought it. That was with a 2.5L 150 EFI hanging on the transom (2:1 lower). Was getting 72 mph.
Then went to a 200 with jack plate sportmaster and got 85 mph. Then a 260 and got 102, and finally a 225 promax and settled in at 98 mph.
After the jackplate was put on, I switched to a Cleaver for top speed. ET's are good all around, and Choppers good for speeds under 70 when you're not packing enough air for lift.
With the over hub props, raise motor till water pressure starts to drop. (Usually 1" above pad).
Hope this helps.
