I had been looking at this thing in my shop too long and when I took it outside and looked at it from a distance I found I didn't like the lines I was going to use on the deck so out came the saw for the last time. I also ground on the deck for a couple more hours on the back side so now it's nice and thin no more leaning on it or you will go through. Between the stuff I cut out and the dust in the vacuum she lost another 7 pounds. If I can I would like to get the final hull weight at 475 but I don't want to sacrifice strength to get there.
Before trimming in the rear.
After the final cut.
Tonight I started on the deck, I want to have it ready for pain in 3-4 weeks then I need to decide what color. This plascore is great to work with, I forgot my heat gun at work so tomorrow night I will start to get the contour in it with a little heat.

I changed my mind again on the deck and cut some more off. The good thing is the more I cu the lighter it gets, I took out just over 3 pounds tonight making over a 10 pound loss since Saturday. It sure would be nice to have a 450 pound hull when finished, that with a tad over 410 horsepower should be quick.
This is close but still needs to be trimmed a bit more, I will be following the same lines all the way back rather than having the 90degree bend at the top.
