Had it up to 50 with a friends cleaver on it.
I didn't want to try for any more with out getting the
core, floor and transom done.
I'm going to get that done this winter but going to put a 150 on it.

It felt good but not fast enough. I'm looking forward to running on the chain
with you next summer. We will have to terrorize some of the little lakes too.

It'll never be fast enough my friend. I said I'd be happy with 70 once upon a time.....then it was 80...then 85....etc etc. I will say things start getting interesting beyond 90 in a Viper. I will also say that, thus far, with my limited seat time, I've run out out balls long before the boat did. Look forward to seeing your progress over the winter.
