If I was to go under the boat and push hard on it, would it feel mushy? or flake?

I just realized, that is QuarterHorses Vector isnt it? I think there is a topic on here about it that he posted.

Hippie that boat was recored by a pro for the owner and then started to delaim and repaired again and sold to Quarterhorse...I almost bought that boat but then I found the guy buildin the Thunderstreams and passed on that boat.....I come real close

Yes, that is quarterhorse's boat. The recore job that was done by the pro was done correct. The problem is that only one side was re-cored. The other side delaminated on quarterhorse. If I remember correctly, the pad wasn't re-cored the first time either.

if I remember right the parts of the boat that looked wet or soft was recored ( thats the part that made me stay away ) by a guy name Scott in Hot Spring Ar in 2005 and I think Clark( the guy selling the boat) went from $5000 to $1500 over trying to sell for a longgggggggggggggg time

That what it was. Only one side was done on it. Either way, Thats what a rotten/soft core will get ya eventually.

A perfect example of why you should do a complete core if any of it is wet or damaged.

Ok! I have the boat! And what was thought by all was correct.

It turns out I have an 89 vision with new stringers new floor and a slowly fading core......what now?

Btw knocked a grand off the price tag...thanks for the tips! I've been reading the record posts and but have not come across this exact issue....any tips would really help :D
