So not sure where else to ask. What's the good bad and ugly on a 1985 laser ltv? Appears to be in great shape. Has a rude gt150 on it. Not a fan of that have had bad luck with them in the past.
Would like another stream but a lot of people around my area think they have gold and when I ask about the core I hear silence or get a dumb look

Laser ltv
1985 laser ltv
Sold my stream this year and have yet found another that is in good shape. Everyone in my area thinks if they have a stream it's worth gold. When I ask about the core I get a blank look. Been there once really don't want to do another core.
So I found a laser ltv looks in good shape guy says it's solid. It has a evenrude 150gt. Not a big fan have had bad luck with Johnson evenrude. Anyone have any input on the ltv? Good bad ugly?

Re: Laser ltv
I merged your posts.
Yeah, people that have no clue about these am too be really off putting when you question them on the core and stuff. Or the ones that say they are solid cause they were garage kept yet will say they don't know if the core had been done or that it hasn't but it's certain that it's dry and solid. I have yet to see a dry solid original hydrostream.

Re: Laser ltv
Don't give up on the stream dream. Are you looking for something to restore or one that's turn key/already had the hard work done?

Re: Laser ltv
Looking for turn key. But need to save some more cash with the prices I've seen. Even then a lot of them just say solid garage stored it's whole life. One Valero I called on the guy said hull had some cranes and he fixed them. He said he checked core and it was good. Maybe but doubt it. He said he put in bulk heads to stuffing it up and a new floor.
Anyway still not sure what I actually want. AE-21,HST, Vegas Valero or a virage

Re: Laser ltv
In my experience, don't get something just to settle cause you might not be happy with it then the hassle to try and sell it... The right one will come along.
