Here in MN anything 16 feet or longer must have a title but even smaller boats, a lot of them come with them. Registering boats here in MN can be a HUGE pain of you don't have a title and getting one transferred into your name (forcing title transfer with the state) can be a pain. I'm dealing with it on 2 boats right now.
