That wouldnt happen to be Aaron that his it would it? Would be cool to build a new vking from the original mold.rev.ronnie wrote:The original V-King mold is a few miles from me in MN. They popped a hull out of it that was laid up in 1991 to hold the mold.
Wondering how to post images or maybe change your avatar or maybe something else?

Re: So where are they now?
That a bummer he doesnt have the deck. Wonder how much work it would be to make a mold of a good deck. Prob more work then its really worth. Unless you had buyers lined up or something.

I'll guarantee that if enought people signed on to get boats built, and they made a new deck mold, all the "buyers" would vaporize befor the first boat was laid up.

I know how that goes. People want something your willing to offer then you bring it to them and all of a sudden you hear nothing but crickets. The internet is full of nothing but tire kickers. Thats why I dont push half the stuff I have or am able to do anymore. I get so many people that bug me for stuff, I tell them where to go so they can buy it and never hear from them again. It sucks.

Re: So where are they now?
I was looking at ordering a new voyager, spoke with the owner of the Vegas mold, supposedly he also owns the voyager mold but doesn't make them anymore because of insurance reasons. A bit of topic of the old hydrostream molds but what the heck!
