comphull vking here befor i dro number 6 cylinder 95 200xri slitly moded 2 ppl 20 gal gas 97 gps i weigh 220 my gf 130 plus cooler and gear good #s also plenty fast

hey its your story --but sorry not a chance at those #'s as described above.Ive driven a dozen v-kings with different set ups and hp.... A light comp shines in acceleration not necessarily a lot bigger top end. Can you give me the specs on your set up. Thanks

1988 V-King YT w/ 2.4l 175 hp Merc. I've played with several nice props and the best GPS speed has been 82 mph. The hull was flying very nicely.

Ok The 150 mention is not 150hp, it has been worked
Money was never a big motivation for me, except as a way to keep score. The real excitement is playing the game.

yeah, a 150 on an 18 footer at 80ish is doing great, unless the motor is seriously warmed up. i have noticed, after looking at one poster above, that is seems like the vking yt's are always running at 80-84 with 150-175 hp. they are always right at that number. i noticed also with the vipers that if they are pretty standard motor heights and with a 115-140 without a jack plate, it seems like they all run at 58-61. anybody else notice that?
