Post: # 12511Post koukrapock »

Hi!!

I am curious to know what is the performance comparaison between V hull and xt hull with the hipotetic top notch setup

In my hulmble opinion 20 ft v hull are 4-5 mph less perform than xt hull.

What do you think????

I would think the are fairly equal after they get on the pad but up until that point I would bet you are right.

V is faster xt & yt are easyer. lol I can't remember which one has the deeper sponsons but that one would be the slowest. Less in the water, the faster u go. Gotta know how to drive a v though.

I guess it depends on what your idea of performance is...........myself I'd rather have the V-hull

I like my xt for the nice ride for a lake boat, then again I'm comparing my vegas to my viper so there is quite a bit different between the two . The YT has the lower sponsons that stay in the water, at about 80 the XT is riding on the center pad.
