My New to me Hydrostream

Post: # 7631Post ConFuseee »

Hi im 14 years old and i just got this hydrostream for only $125 boat and trailer :)
my dad has built these all his life and now i am inlove with streams.. i have to put a new floor, and transum in this but it will be a good project for me i love speed so i told him i wanted a stream. My dad is gonna help me a little but he wants me to learn and do it mostly myself with him telling me what to do.. im not sure what we are gonna use yet but i just thought i would show you guys my new boat.. does anyone have any tips for me? i was thinking about getting just a 90 or 115 hp mercury for this boat. please leave a comment and tell me what you think! thanks!

Nice find. Review all the WIP threads here and you will get a good idea what you are in for. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say, don't be afraid to ask questions. Bill

As stated already sweet find for sure, and do what ever you can to save that gel. Keep us posted on the restoration progress, it can help you stay motivated and sure keeps us on our tasks. If there is anything we can help with feel free to ask. I think a 90 or 115 would be a sweet package. Good luck and I think I can safely say we are all jealous

Very nice find! Like the others have said, you found yourself a piece of boating history there. I can't wait to follow this along.

Wish I could find deals like that.
