Vision, Viking, Vector pads

Post: # 8715Post S P E E D »

I just measured the pad on my Vision tonight out of curiosity. It's a 9 inch wide pad and I was wondering what the width on a Viking and Vector pad is. I know that my Vision is a Chopped Viking and was curious if the pads were the same. Also if the Pad on the vision would be a bad thing when combined with a V-6.

Hey Russ, What motor are you running on your VKing? From what I've been reading People have claimed the Visions pad to be bigger then 9 inches and they have said with a V-6 on the boat its a handful to drive. Needless to say there isnt alot of Vision reading online.

I have a couple different options for the boat motor wise and steering wise. But I am leaning towards my Johnson 225 with dual ram sea star hydraulic steering.
