Hi all,

New to this forum and am going to look at this boat on Monday (hopefully returning with it). My question is...does this have the original gel on it? Not sure if this colour was offered or if it has been redone..I can tell the interior has been.

looks like original to me. you could get any color you wanted back then. if the core hasn't been done, and everything else is good, don't pay more than $2k, unless you have a moisture meter and tap all over the bottom. my guess is, core has not been done, and because he spent money on the interior, he will want, $3500. pass on that one.

It was brought out of storage last year after ten years of indoor storage. Serviced annually. Not sure the core will "need" to be done?

It will be if its never been done. I am 99% sure of that so keep that in mind when going into it.

pretty boat, but, seriously, i would bet $100 if you run a moisture meter on it, it will state that it is full of water, even after sitting for 10 years. the core is like a watch, once water gets is, it aint coming out. it will just sit and rot. at the very least, tap all over the bottom with a soft hammer, and push all over the bottom, especially the pad area. if it deflects at all, don't fool with it.
