That looks great, Ronnie sure does some nice work, I don't think he cuts bass mids.

He experimented with them on his own boat when he first started doing them, they all broke. He'll only use an offshore casting now, the bass cans just don't have any meat to them.

this is what he sent me, looks like a bass mid with some exhaust holes drilled, says there is pipe welded in them, and the nose cone on this thing looks pretty bad too, less someone on here that knows more about this than i do says something different, think im just gonna avoid this one.

That cone job looks like mine. EEK! I bet it could be fixed though easy enough. Its that mid that would be a concern for me.

Whats the rest of the boat look like and has the core been replaced or is it all original?

Cut bass mid, stock cowl with straps, a lot of corrosion on the cone. I guess that's why the asking price is low. I would pass on this one, the 15" would be nice but not necessary, I'm running a 20" with absolutely no problems. I do want a 15 for the race look but with the 20 it makes the average person think it's a bigger motor LOL.

That is awful. The lower unit doesn't even fit, there's a shim jammed in between the can and the gearcase housing!

It's the old 2 ram clamp, pre 1980.

I wouldn't drive that, it's unsafe.

Wish I had something good to say about it, sorry.
