Re: New to forum but grew up on st criox river with streams in the 70's
Thanks for welcoming me
I will post pic's once I size them properly
As found the 81 vamp has a stock set up so far 96 merc 125 oil inj. On transom. wondering about oil inj delete.
perfect side logo's and low pro wind shields new condition. working on oxidation removal is spot,s
Floor and transom seem strong and all upholstery is in tack all no rip's or tear's just a lil stiff.
I was wondering if a jack plate even for this lil motor is a good thing if so how much setback and lift
is required ?? now the shaft seems 5"OR 6" below pad?? just me and wife cruising around no fancy prop yet. no tubing or skiing planned. But I am a trim guy like the feeling of being on the pad.
And I boat at 4700 feet so there is a lot of prop work to figure.
Thanks again
