progress on the evinrude 235

Post: # 1843Post tommy »

finally got some paint on the hood cover, 1984 formula one colors, with a little twist. i have about 40 hrs of fiberclass work in it, it had holes on the sides for emblems that had to be filled and a bunch of chips and scratches. now i can get all the rigging done for the last time, i have all new autometer gauges, new seats, custom rear seat, hydraulic steering, and a custom made steering wheel " machined in my shop". should have it done before thanksgiving. will post pics as i go. Where did you get the decals for the cover? The stock 235 color doesn't match well with a red hull and I might need to paint it.
