Christmas Tree Fun
A few years ago I came across a website where people re-planted their christmas trees in public places and kept tabs on them to see how long they lasted before they were taken down. I've had a fake tree for about 8 years now, and have finally decided it's put in it's last year. So I found a higly visible lot that has been cleared and put up for sale in the fall that seemed like the perfect location for my tree to serve it's last hurrah..... It was quite the effort to dig through the waist high snow and drag it out to the middle of the lot, but I hope it was worth it!

Re: Christmas Tree Fun
That's funny. And look at all that snow... I have none here and it was -15 today/Thursday. I wouldn't mind the cold if we had some snow to go along with it. LoL

Re: Christmas Tree Fun
Yeah, we have more than our share of snow this year. Looks like Al Gore solved global warming after all!

Re: Christmas Tree Fun
It survived the weekend! We're getting freezing rain now, should do a good job of anchoring it down! 5 days and counting....

Re: Christmas Tree Fun
11 days down....
It's had some admirers, there's now a snowmobile track that goes past it, turns around, and footprints leading up to it... Standing a little off kilter right now, but still standing!
