Took the wife out today for her first ride in the Viper and she loves the boat
Stopped by the bar near the lake for a beer afterwards, talked with the owner about hot rod boats.
He has a 1968 Glastron jetflght v143 sitting out back that he will let go for $200.
Its a 14.5 footer sort of looks like a gt150, its in good shape but will need stringers and floor repair.
Transom looked ok. Sitting on a decent trailer, no motor but has steering and merc controls.
If any one is interested I can get pics of it. Its in Camp Lake Wi.
Wondering how to post images or maybe change your avatar or maybe something else?

Re: Good Day
Cool, it's always easier to spend money and time on a boat if the wife is in to it to.

Re: Good Day
Post some pictures of the Viper. I was on the chain yesterday. It was rough between noon and 6 pm, but great before and after. Thought about giving you a call but it never happened. Could you shoot me a pm with a picture of the Glasstron? Does it come with a trailer? If so I might be interested in at least looking at it. Camp Lake is kind of short for a run in the Viper huh? Bill
Re: Good Day
It comes with a trailer that doesn't look bad at all.
I'll go get some pics today of it.
We were actually on Center Lake which is even smaller,
but I had the motor low and an alum prop on it.
Just wanted the wife to check it out.
I also have to do the floor and transom this winter and don't want to push it hard yet.
Which brings up another point. I want to find a 150 for it, this 115 won't be enough.
I'll be around today if you want to give me a call.

Re: Good Day
Sounds good. I didn't get a chance to call today. I will try to call tomorrow if I can. I re-cored the Vulture but didn't do the transom. Since then I switched from a 150 to a 200 and now think it would be best if I did the transom this winter. That boat needs a V6. I agree. Bill
