Cover Hold Down Options?

Post: # 6961Post LSaupe »

How are most of you holding down your covers? I have a new (to me - thanks Russ!) cover with edge loops for ropes or straps.

I do not wish to add snaps. What makes more sense, strap it down to the trailer, or to itself (side to opposite side)under the hull? Thinking of maybe sinch/pull straps with a release buckle under the hull.

I make a loop on one end of the rope which always stays there, then I put the other end of the rope threw the loop on the cover and then threw the loop on the rope which always stays there , then i throw the rope with the just plan rope end under the boat NOT the trailer and then i put that end of the rope threw the other loop on that side of the boat . So the loopended rope is all on one side of the boat .I put the loopside rope on the open road side of the boat so if i have to tie or untie Im not on the side of the boat where the cars are driving
