Reg numbers requirements?

Does anyone know what the minimum height requirements are for the registration numbers on a boat? I cant seem to find it anywhere online and I am not sure if each state is different or not. Any help would be awsome!!! Thanks.

Thanks guys. That is exactly what I was looking for. Some reason I was not able to find that info the one time I actually needed it. LoL

Looks like 4" reg numbers will be just right. :D Now to start working on setting something up so people can start ordering some. :up:
