Hey guy found a old wedge nose shaped stream on jaxed mashed .Only problem guy only listed phone # no area code .And I suck at responnding to ads on graigs .Check it out see where its at and post please .It says greenville but what state ? Looks like it has lots of potential for a vintage drag boat . Just go to Jaxed mashed boats click on hydrostream it is anew listing and only 950$

Way cool! I have always wanted one of them. They can be a handful to drive though from what I hear though if you put to much power on them. There is a member here that is from Minnesota here that has a nice looking Vixen. There are pics of it on here somewhere if I remember right.

$950.00 is a bit spendy though as you can bet it will need a core by the looks of it and that pile of leaves in it.

I bought it today. 1976 Vixen. Owned by Barron Cooley (Mercury Dealership Treasures thread on S&F). Barron's Dad was a Hydrostream dealer in Anderson, SC and got the boat new. I can't wait to pick it up. Project for my grandson (and me).

edited to add: I have an '82 OMC 70 that we'll hang initially, will try to find an 85 Javelin later.

Vixen came home Friday. Overall not bad. Bottom looks good, some delam on cap at bow - fixable. Picked up a '79 Erude 85 for power.
