Sorry for the misunderstanding...was really late at night when I posted
The boat is mine now...picked it up two weeks ago and have been working on it ever since.
Have 3k into the boat and $1500 into the engine.
Was just curious what the experts thought

I would think it is or was a good deal. What hp is the motor?
The only problem is there always seams to be something else you need for the boat to go just a little faster.

It's a Merc 175, has great compression but a lot of other issues that needed corrected...mostly minor. Interior is three years old and boat is in great shape. Brain shut down when I saw it, for 3k...just hooked up and dragged it home :0)
