Hey Guys ,
looking to install a jackplate along with Bobs cone and wanted to ask if any one had a jackplate for sale and any reccomendation on how much set back 4-6-8 on the Vector............

i dont recomend the hydrolic style there not that dependable after a few years like to loose presure with the heavy v/6 motor get bobs adjustable you will be happy you did. mitchiel

Thanks for the advise . I had a manual jack on my last hydrostream and it seemed to be fine . That was back in 1979 so thought id ask in todays time .

I run a bob's adjustable at 2.5" on my viper.

Thanks for the reply ; you have a setback of 2.5 or the height is around 2.5 . The market has so many different set back from 2-8 in, i ran a jack plate that was very close to trans. on my last vector but that was back in 1979 with a hand built 235 ,,,,, after bottom work and all the hand work on the 235 it ir ran 92-94 mph . I am in hopes of 100plus with new horsepower , these vectors are a kick at that speed .

i run the same plate from bobs. its also adjustable where you can run 2.5" back.....5" back...and 5" back with a negative wedge. gives you some options
